Proclaim Or Be Claimed

Proclaim Or Be Claimed

Pursue – Find the word.

The Bible is full of promises for us. There are answers to each of our situations; we only have to seek Him. Jeremiah 29:13, “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”

Personally, I need healing. We know that in Isaiah 53:5 and 1 Peter 2:24 that we were healed. That price has been paid and it is one of the promises for us.  Mark 16:18, God said we would lay hands on the sick and they would recover!

So what answers do you need?

Are you anxious? Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Depressed? Nehemiah 8:10, “….Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Broken? Psalms 147:3, “He heals the brokenhearted. And binds up their wounds.”

Fear? 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

Anger? James 1:19-20, “19 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; 20 for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.”

Great are the promises of God. Purse the promises that God has for you!

Proclaim – Say the word.

Found your promise? Now proclaim it. Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Hearing, not heard. Hearing is active. Our ability to receive is greatly increased as we read the Word aloud. We believe our voice better than anyone else’s.

It seems repetitive to keep doing and saying the same thing. Soon, we become discourage if we don’t see results. We are part of a generation where everything is at our fingertips. Patience is hard to find because of the instant gratification we see daily. God doesn’t work that way. Faith isn’t instant. It takes time to burry, water and grow those words in your Sprit.

Even if it seems like nothing is happening, it is in your Spirit. God’s Word is alive and will bring life to those situations. We have to hold onto that faith.

Remember, bitter water and sweet can’t flow from the same source, James 3:11. Even if your mind screams otherwise, say the Word that God has given you. Never speak what the devil keeps pushing because that will only send us backward.

Possess – Live the word.

Once the Word becomes more than lip service, once it is alive in us, then we have something. This is when our lives fundamentally change.

Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

The word is alive, powerful and there for our good. We have to let it soak in. Let it be more real than the air that you breathe. I want to profoundly change my life and I have the most powerful tool to do so. I also have the best companion to assist in that.

John 14:26, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”

Simple steps? Yes, but sometimes it is easier said than done. By God, all things are possible and we can be the one person that starts a revival by allowing God to break every chain in our lives. Our testimonies are powerful and God wants to give us something that will shake this world. Who’s ready?

Just To Brag On My God A Little…

So I have to share my testimonies from last week with you all. I am so thankful for everything that the Lord does…and I know He does more than I even realize. He is so good to us and I am in awe how He cares enough about us to do even little things that really doesn’t matter to anyone, but us…that is how much that He is interested in our everyday lives!

First of all, I purchased a phone from eBay about a month ago, but it wasn’t what I had ordered and was just junky. I contacted the seller and they assured me that they would replace it… When I still hadn’t gotten anything, I contacted them again, but they assured me it was in the mail. Finally, I got tired of it and reported them to eBay. They then harassed me via text, saying they would win and eBay was siding with them because I had waited past the return date—which, by the way, it was only one day past that date and I had only waited that long because I was trying to let them work it out. It was a possibility that it wouldn’t go my way and I had heard of several cases like mine ruling in the seller’s favor, but just three hours later it was resolved…in my favor! I didn’t have to pay return shipping or anything and I would be repaid in FULL! How good is our God?!

Second, I was with my mom at work and it was time for my shot—diabetic, type 1—so I went to take it…only to realize that I didn’t have enough with me and I couldn’t go back to the house so I had to take the amount that I had. I prayed that God would let this be like my usual amount of insulin and He did! My sugar was like it should be and I thank God for His help!

Third, I had gone to town with Mom and I was sitting outside in the SUV while she had gone inside the store for a few things. I hadn’t brought a CD and I was sitting there thinking I wished I had one… A small, still voice suggested I check the CD case in the SUV. Low and behold, my Kari Jobe CD that had been missing for a couple of months was in there! I had looked everywhere for the CD and couldn’t find it. It means so much to be that the Lord would help me find it. I’m so thankful that He cares about what we care about!

Fourth, I was up at my parents’ house visiting. I was fixing to leave when Dad stopped me and we were talking. Next thing I knew, we heard a loud boom. Somehow, even though the SUV was in park, it had rolled forward and hit the house. Thankfully, no damage was done. However, the great thing was I probably would have been pinned between the SUV and wall had my Dad not stopped me. I thank the Lord for His protective hands!

I am sure there is more that I could share with you… God’s handprints are on our everyday lives, He is always there watching over and guiding us. He is so awesome! If you have any testimonies, please share in the comments below!

God bless!

“For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.” – Psalms 91:11

Hold On

Even if everything seems to be falling apart, God is reforming each piece back into a new and perfect picture for your life. No doubt what the devil meant to destroy, God can and will remake…even better than before!

Life is hard…sometimes things seem utterly hopeless, but in Him we have nothing and no one to fear because He is with us! Wait out the storm, He is there with you, holding your hand and He will never let go!

No Matter What, Trust In Him

“No matter how things seem, God is still in control and He will see you through!” — K.N. Proctor

Sometimes circumstances seem so dark, but the sun always rises with the new day. Sometimes things seem so impossible in our own lives and that there is no hope, but God will always see us through!

“…and, lo, I a with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” — Matthew 28:20

Red letter, Christ is speaking and He promised to be with us always, even unto the end of the world! Therefore, we have nothing and no one to fear. Praise the Lord Jesus! Take faith in God that everything is going to be all right!

I pray that whatever you are going through that you allow the Lord to lead you and that you give any fears or worries to Him. if you have any prayer requests or needs, please contact me at knproctor@gregproctor.net. May God bless and keep you!

God Will Do The Rest

“As long as you’re doing your best God’ll see to the rest.” – K.N. Proctor

Trust in the Lord and He will see you through. Do His will and you cannot lose.

Which Well Are You?

Which Well Are You?

#1 No “My Way” — We can’t make our own way; we can’t make our own containers.

#2 Only by “God’s Way”— Now that we know we can’t make it on our own; we can make it through Him. We need to drop our “water pot” as the Samaritan woman did and take up God’s new vessel.

#3 No “Best Of Both Worlds” We can’t make our own water, we can’t be both, we can’t be friends of God and friends of the devil.

How many know you are you “well” tonight? I didn’t ask if you are well, but how many know that you are a well? It’s time to do some “water” testing, time to see if your well is full or if you have dried up.

Thought Provoking Questions From A Christian Prospective

Eh. Has it honestly been that long since I posted? Shame on me…  Here are some thought provoking questions about your spiritual life. Also, feel free to re-post your answers; I would love to see the diverse opinions and please comment if you do!

What has been the most impacting thing in your Christian walk? I think it was when I was filled with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. After almost two years—I believe it was anyway—of praying and seeking, my prayer was answered. He never fails to answer our prayers! Other than salvation, it has been the most impacting thing, not just in my Spiritual life, but my physically life as well, it is a reminder that God is always there. See Acts 2:4, 2:38, John 14:26, Ephesians 5:18, 38, Luke 11:13, Matthew 3:11, Mark 16:17. All should earnestly desire the Holy Spirit, it is a gift.

What is the most important fruit that should be produced in a Christian’s walk? Love. Simple, but certainly not easy. See Romans 5:10. What a absolute example of love.

Freely Received, Freely Give

Hello, fair readers! I feel that the Lord has pressed this verse in Matthew on my heart and I wanted to share this revelation with you.

Recently, I have had to deal with a situation where I have someone has been a constant thorn in my side… They seemed to want to cause me trouble and just plain irritate me…. It has been difficult not to hold a grudge and to feel love for this person–extremely hard! However, I have tried to be nice and do as the Lord as commanded me… But… “The Unlovable” seems to fit this person to a t!
