Hold On

Even if everything seems to be falling apart, God is reforming each piece back into a new and perfect picture for your life. No doubt what the devil meant to destroy, God can and will remake…even better than before!

Life is hard…sometimes things seem utterly hopeless, but in Him we have nothing and no one to fear because He is with us! Wait out the storm, He is there with you, holding your hand and He will never let go!

That moment…that special moment when your whole life changes, that moment when you find the one person made just for you

As a teenager, I wanted what my peers had: I wanted a boyfriend. I daydreamed and desired that desperately. Finally, one evening I was talking to my Dad about it and then he prayed with me for that desire to be filled. God sent me what I had asked and I fell in love; I thought I had something that would last forever…as probably most young people do. In the end, all I ended up with was shattered dreams, a broken heart and too many tears to count.

After that, I changed my outlook. I wanted something more; I didn’t just want a boyfriend but I wanted a husband, someone I could spend the rest of my life with, someone to experience the good and the bad. A few young men caught my eye and I had a few that liked me, but none ever worked out and I have to thank God for that because they weren’t who He wanted for me.

No Matter What, Trust In Him

“No matter how things seem, God is still in control and He will see you through!” — K.N. Proctor

Sometimes circumstances seem so dark, but the sun always rises with the new day. Sometimes things seem so impossible in our own lives and that there is no hope, but God will always see us through!

“…and, lo, I a with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” — Matthew 28:20

Red letter, Christ is speaking and He promised to be with us always, even unto the end of the world! Therefore, we have nothing and no one to fear. Praise the Lord Jesus! Take faith in God that everything is going to be all right!

I pray that whatever you are going through that you allow the Lord to lead you and that you give any fears or worries to Him. if you have any prayer requests or needs, please contact me at knproctor@gregproctor.net. May God bless and keep you!

God Will Do The Rest

“As long as you’re doing your best God’ll see to the rest.” – K.N. Proctor

Trust in the Lord and He will see you through. Do His will and you cannot lose.

Redeemed

Redeemed: broken and flawed no more.”

Another Six Word Story. Anyway, this one was for a self-portrait mini-contest. This is who I am, a Christian; I am no longer the same.

Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17.

New Beginnings

“Tomorrow speaks new beginnings for all.”

I stumbled upon Six Word Stories on deviantArt and found it really interesting so I have been doing these very short stories…  This one was the prompt “Tomorrow Speaks” and was the first one I had written. Every day is a new chance, all our mistakes are in the past and we can make each day new.

Which Well Are You?

Which Well Are You?

#1 No “My Way” — We can’t make our own way; we can’t make our own containers.

#2 Only by “God’s Way”— Now that we know we can’t make it on our own; we can make it through Him. We need to drop our “water pot” as the Samaritan woman did and take up God’s new vessel.

#3 No “Best Of Both Worlds” We can’t make our own water, we can’t be both, we can’t be friends of God and friends of the devil.

How many know you are you “well” tonight? I didn’t ask if you are well, but how many know that you are a well? It’s time to do some “water” testing, time to see if your well is full or if you have dried up.

Take My Hand And Never Let Go Chapter One: A Is For Addiction

Summary: If you could write your love story, what would it say? Would it include the good with the bad? The sadness with the joy? The laughter with the pain? You x OC. A series of drabbles.

Author’s Note: Boredom inspired this fiction. I had stumbled upon where others had used the alphabet for their stories and I thought it to be an interesting idea… These are mere drabbles; some connect, some do not…half of them make little sense because this is the way my mind works sadly…. The love interest does have a name, but feel free to change it to whatsoever you wish. Enjoy.

Word: Chocolate….

Take My Hand And Never Let Go

Chapter One:

A Is For Addiction

Addiction, meaning a compulsive need for something. While the word seemed somewhat meaningless to your much too young mind, you vaguely understood the concept—okay, not really; you ended up having to ask an adult what that word meant. Your “good” friend, William, suggested that you had a problem, an addiction to a certain thing. You denied this, having not grasped the concept. But now you could admit that there were several things you craved and desired even as a youth: love, food, shelter…and the object currently in the slightly older girl’s hands.

Twilight

Summary: What happens in the woods stays in the woods. OneShot. You x Mystery Man.

Author’s Note: Here is a little short piece of original work…it’s random and I have no idea what inspired this. It is in the second point of view, which is my favorite to write in… Enjoy, hopefully you will.

Twilight

By

K.N. Proctor

Twilight, in your opinion, was a rather creepy time… Perhaps it was the horror and terrible memories that you had involving twilight, if anything bad every happened to you it seemed to center around that point. Much to your utter joy, you were currently lost in the woods at such an appointed time. Oh, joy.

Normally, you were the very rational and stable sort, but you could help but cringe at every little noise and stir of the woods, imagining the very worst scenario. Basically, your underactive imagination just became very overactive…as if on crack. “It figures…”

Thought Provoking Questions From A Christian Prospective

Eh. Has it honestly been that long since I posted? Shame on me…  Here are some thought provoking questions about your spiritual life. Also, feel free to re-post your answers; I would love to see the diverse opinions and please comment if you do!

What has been the most impacting thing in your Christian walk? I think it was when I was filled with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. After almost two years—I believe it was anyway—of praying and seeking, my prayer was answered. He never fails to answer our prayers! Other than salvation, it has been the most impacting thing, not just in my Spiritual life, but my physically life as well, it is a reminder that God is always there. See Acts 2:4, 2:38, John 14:26, Ephesians 5:18, 38, Luke 11:13, Matthew 3:11, Mark 16:17. All should earnestly desire the Holy Spirit, it is a gift.

What is the most important fruit that should be produced in a Christian’s walk? Love. Simple, but certainly not easy. See Romans 5:10. What a absolute example of love.
